Pietro Vecchio was born in Francavilla Fontana (Brindisi, Italy) on December 1, 1978. He received the laurea degree in 2003 in Computer Engineering from the University of Lecce, Italy and in the 2007 the PhD in Engineering Innovation from the Department of Engineering for Innovation of the University of Salento, Italy. From June 2008 to May 2010 he worked at Scuola ISUFI-Beni Culturali of the University of Salento (Italy) and from 2003 he collaborates at he Department of Engineering for Innovation in the electrical engineering fields, in imaging-video with cellular neural networks and in chaotic systems. In 2010 he received the “BEST PAPER AWARD” from ACHII 2010 Conference. His research interests include chaotic circuits, synchronization, cellular neural networks for graphic design, neural networks applies to photovoltaic systems, and virtual cultural heritage application. He has published eleven papers in the international journals and sixteen papers in proceedings of international conferences.
