The 3rd International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics (SALENTO AVR 2016) will take place in Otranto (Lecce, Italy) during June 15-18, 2016

The purpose of the SALENTO AVR 2016 is to provide a discussion forum for researchers about the latest research findings, ideas, developments, applications and realizations on virtual and augmented reality, 3D visualization and computer graphics in the areas of medicine, cultural heritage, arts, education, entertainment, industrial and military sectors.

We invite electronic submissions of full or short papers for oral or poster presentation. The contributions will be carefully evaluated by external reviewers and program committee taking into account originality, significance, technical soundness and clarity of exposition.

The 2nd International Conference on Augmented and Virtual Reality (SALENTO AVR 2015) will take place in Lecce (Italy) from August 31 to September 3, 2015 with the aim to bring a community of researchers from academia and industry, computer scientists, engineers, physicians together in order to share points of views, knowledge, experiences and scientific and technical results, related to state-of-the-art solutions and technologies on virtual and augmented reality applications for medicine, cultural heritage, education, industrial sectors, as well as the demonstration of advanced products and technologies. Presentations and discussions will span topics from virtual environments and augmented reality to 3D user interfaces and the technology needed to enable these environments to a wide range of applications (medical, entertainment, military, design, manufacture, maintenance, arts and cultural heritage).

The objective of the IP “Innovation and Technology for Smart Cities (ITSmart)” is to bring together students and academics from across Europe in order to approach or improve knowledge of some advanced and innovative technologies with the aim to design and develop ICT services and applications necessary for building of smart cities.
